How To Increase Your Site’s Conversion Rate

Conversion will not come looking for your business; you need to find it. Dr Blanks reiterates that conversion is a collective effort from these three elements: website, split test result, and your words or copy.

Your conversion’s performance will depend on how careful you plan everything – from the concept creation, execution, monitoring the impact, analyzing the results and implementing the changes as necessary. Nothing remains constant – market demands are changing right before your eyes and you need to be able to anticipate the change before it happens.

It can be true that you have your high-performing webpage, a website that does well in terms of conversion and profit, but this does not mean that there’s nothing else you can do. If your tactics are doing well on your webpage, transfer your winning campaign to other media.

Move out of your comfort zone because that is the only way that you can achieve greater things. Do not sit comfortably and hope that the same thing will happen in the next two or three months.

Remember the keywords- market demand changes over time. If you will not try to use other forms of media to promote your product, you will be in a dead-end situation when your website tactics are no longer reaching your audience effectively. Doing things simultaneously across other forms of media is always a good choice. Imagine the impact it can bring if all efforts lead to a positive outcome- a sure profit.

The bottom line – according to Dr. Karl Blanks; there are rules that you can follow while there are some risks that you can take. There are written rules and unspoken rules and picking the perfect combination is your best asset. Create your own recipe for success – everybody has their own secret ingredient and you can find yours too. If you don’t know where to start, take some of the tried and tested rules below:

  • Visuals and words – these two need to be in harmony all the time. The words must describe your picture and your picture must be the actual representation of your words.
  • Be user-friendly – create a website that is easy to navigate. The visitors should be landing on the page that they are supposed to.
  • Be an admirer of change – it is okay to try something new rather than not trying anything at all. Take some risks but make sure that these all are “calculated risks”.
  • Initiate the trend –create a desire that leads to the “want” to purchase your product. This is a bold move but is worth taking.
