On this infographic, the folks over at Catalyst have given us this great infographic on how to optimize your product page. On any business website, the product page is the page that features all the products (or services) that you offer. At this point, you have gotten your visitor to enter the landing page, and this has lead them to the product page. You’ve hooked them on your website, now all you have to do is reel them in. This may sound easy, but not all customers that enter the product page are automatically converted. You still have to do your due diligence and make sure that your product page is up to par.

Aside from teaching us about product page optimization, this infographic also shares with us interesting insights and information, such as:

  • 3 C’s of SEO
  • Paying Attention to your Meta
  • Site Search and Descriptions
  • Specials and Social Sharing
  • Keyphrases and Links
  • Photo and Video Content

Optimization is not just applied to one or two pages on your website, but rather, it should be applied to all the pages on your website that your visitors might visit. This includes the contact page, the landing page, the shipping page, and yes, definitely the product page. The product page is where you can show your customers exactly that it is you are offering. This is where you can show them your product/service through various kinds of multimedia, and effectively close the deal. Optimizing your product page also makes sure that your business knows what it is doing by showcasing the strongest aspects of your products/services.
