Nowadays, everything is in the hands of the customer. Internet marketing has given them the power to control what they want, how they want it, and when they want to have it. In fact, companies have never really been in control of their brands; their customers have always had control. They are the ones who control the advertising and marketing. It is the rule of supply and demand. But when this happens, you have to make sure that your brand is not naked.

In a recent podcast, Creative Thirst‘s Bobby Hewitt showed why and how your brand is naked and how to take full advantage of it. Yes, the Internet has given the customers the power to control your business, but it also has given many opportunities for all us to use this to our advantage. When your customers communicate with you what they want and how they want it, it can actually give you an advantage when it comes to advertising and marketing.

Is Your Brand Naked

Promote Your Brand

The Internet has given so many opportunities to marketers to advertise their business all over the world. You can really improve your brand by using Internet marketing. It has a global reach without really accessing global promotion and advertising. This is just one of the advantages of having and online business.  But how can you use this to your advantage? Try promoting your products and services through:

  • Blogs
  • Podcasts
  • Social Media
  • Webinars

These opportunities have given us the ability to create a strong connection between a brand and a customer. It doesn’t matter if your business is big or small; everyone is accepted in the Internet marketing world. You don’t need to own a big company to advertise on the Internet. Even small companies have achieved huge results by presenting their brand properly. When visitors come to your site, they don’t see how big your company is, but how your brand is being presented.

Advertise Properly

Your visitors want to know everything about your products and services, and how it can help them with their problems. You can give all that by a proper advertising. Do you know how important advertising is to the customers? A good advertising campaign could really improve the whole image of your brand and the customers will see you through different eyes. Good advertising would make them buy your products or use your services. It provides motivation and it is an important segment of the online marketing.

We live in a world where good advertising is very important and powerful. Without it, your brand would be completely naked. Consider this a challenge to improve brand awareness and attract visitors to your website and hopefully convert them into customers. Proper advertising and marketing is necessary for high conversion rates. According to Scott Levy,

Learn how to use social platforms to tactfully share, or bare, your brand, inciting consumer action. Discover how to strip your social media strategy down to what works for your brand, exhibit transparency that engages followers on all popular social channels, and create brand consistency across all social platforms.

This was taken from an e-book published by Scott Levy entitled Tweet Naked, wherein he talks about the importance of social media as a part of your online marketing strategy and that transparency is the key to it all.

Continuous Improvement

It is extremely important to control the quality of your brand. Consider all the risks that come from having a naked brand. You must find the resources that would help you solve all the issues and increase brand awareness. Otherwise, you will keep losing your visitors and even potential customers. When it comes to Internet marketing, your brand is the most important asset in the eyes of your visitors. Every business owner should strive to make every customer come back again. So, try to control the quality of your brand and keep making constant improvements to extend the existence of your business.
