The folks over at QuickSprout have shared with us this great infographic on the 7 landing page flaws that can kill your website’s conversion. Conversion is a marketing term that means turning casual visitors of your website into paying customers. This is critical to making your online business a success. There are many factors that contribute to conversion, but none more so than landing page optimization. Landing pages are the first pages that your visitors see when they enter your website. Having flaws on that page can quickly turn away customers even before they get a chance to see other parts of your site. This infographic tackles the 7 critical landing page flaws that can kill your conversion, and how to fix them.

Aside from pointing the flaws and showing us how to fix them, the infographic also contains several useful insights and information such as:

  • Importance of the Landing Page
  • How to avoid Information Overload
  • Getting the right Calls to Action
  • Text or Copy weight
  • Site Speed and Load time
  • A/B Testing is critical

Having a few, or even just one of these flaws, can really hinder the progress of your online business. Remember, the landing page is the very first page that your visitors see. Everything there has to be placed just right in order to maximize your conversion. Naturally, you cannot convert all the visitors that enter your website, but you have to know your audience, and you have to know what it takes to make sure that you do not turn away any visitors by having any of these flaws.
