The folks over at QuickSprout have released this interesting infographic on how colors (specifically the colors on your website) can affect your conversion rate. Many people may think that website color schemes are a trivial thing that won’t really make a difference. But several studies in the past have shown that there is a connection between the colors that a person sees, what that person feels, and how that can affect what that person will, or will not do.

Aside from the effect that colors have on conversion rates, the infographic also contains several useful insights and information such as:

  • Color statistics (for shoppers)
  • Gender and Color
  • Conscious and Subconscious colors
  • Colors that affect Spending
  • Colors to Avoid
  • Signals that your colors send

In the world of online business, you want to take whatever advantage is available. Just knowing how colors can affect your customers is a very significant advantage. The internet is a very competitive place, and something as trivial as your color scheme may determine the success of your overall conversion rate.
