In their recent infographic, MarketingMojo shared with us what website owners should be testing and why, in terms of landing page optimization. In terms of optimization, one of the newest and best tools a website owner can use is A/B testing.

Testing will let an owner know what is working, and also what is not working in their web site. But the trick here is knowing what to test and why you should be testing that aspect. The aforementioned infographic also lets users know where to focus on, in terms of A/B testing, and also why it is important to devote your attention to that part of your website.

Aside from showing you the ‘why’ and ‘what’ of A/B testing, the infographic also features information and insights about landing pages and testing, such as:

  • Importance of the Landing Page
  • Methods of Landing Page Testing
  • What Landing Page Elements to test
  • Most Impactful Elements of a Landing Page
  • A/B Testing vs Multivariate Testing

Landing page optimization (and indirectly, A/B testing) is one of the most important aspects of internet marketing. And each website owner should know, not just what the important tests to run, but also WHY these tests are important. This gives them an idea of what makes a successful website, and how they can improve or adjust their marketing towards that success.
